Bereavement (Anna)

On April 13, 2023, our founder of Samezuka Arts, Anna had received some very terrible news. Her aunt Nina passed away at 4:44 am. On Wed April 19, she attended the burial service for her aunt and gave a short, emotional eulogy in her honor. During this dark time, she will be taking two weeks to mourn her and her family's loss.

On April 22, 2023, her sister in law was hit with an additional loss. The night before, her dog of 9 years was attacked and with life threatening injuries. With no way of paying the high bill for emergency surgery, on April 22, she had to make the hard choice to let him go and end his suffering. In his honor, Anna will continue the scrappy quilt meant for the little guy. It may be difficult to cope, but we will all get through these losses.

Please pardon Anna as she takes the time she needs to cope with her loss at this time. She will definitely continue to update the site with new kitty crack kicker toys (mouse, wavy, & fish) as well as possibly a few pairs of shorts and skirts in the coming months. She is experimenting first with skirts and shorts and then will eventually move on to pants, shirts, and kigurumis (for kids).
